We the Veterans and Military Families Announces Military250 Campaign Advisory Council

WASHINGTON, D.C. [July 10, 2025] – We the Veterans and Military Families proudly announces the formation of the Military250 Campaign Advisory Council, a distinguished group of veteran and military family leaders across a variety of disciplines and advocates for the community committed to honoring service and strengthening patriotic civic engagement across the country.

Comprising individuals with decades of leadership, dedication, and lived experience, the Advisory Council will help guide the Military250 campaign—an initiative commemorating the 250th anniversaries of the U.S. Army, Navy, and Marine Corps. The campaign offers a moment to reflect on the enduring contributions of service members, veterans, and military families to our nation’s history and future, while calling for a renewal of patriotic participation in civic life.

“The Military250 campaign is a tribute to the service and sacrifice that have shaped our nation and a call to action for Americans to step forward in service to the nation and our local communities,” said Christine Dorfler, Advisory Committee Co-Chair. “We are honored to be a part of such a remarkable group of leaders advising on this effort, united by a shared belief that continued service—both in and out of uniform—is essential to our country’s future.”
